VTOP brake fluid is a common brake fluid that contains a rubber-swelling component to reduce fluid loss and leakage.
This product offers excellent corrosion resistance, improving the reliability and lifespan of components in the braking system.
Uses:
- VTOP brake fluid prevents air pockets in the brake system, has a high boiling point, and a low freezing point, ensuring safety when going over passes and steep inclines.
- Prevents leakage and pressure loss, compatible with various types of brake cups, including those manufactured in Vietnam.
- Good lubricating properties at both low and high temperatures, suitable for Vietnamese conditions.
- High oxidation and thermal stability extend the lifespan of the brake fluid.
Key differences between DOT 3 and DOT 4:
1/ Boiling point
DOT 3:
Dry boiling point (before moisture absorption): ~205°C
Wet boiling point (after moisture absorption): ~140°C
DOT 4:
Dry boiling point: ~230°C
Wet boiling point: ~155–165°C
2/ Applications:
DOT 3: commonly used for popular cars, light loads, and normal operating conditions.
DOT 4: used for newer cars, with ABS/ESP, high-performance cars, and cars for long-distance/heavy-duty driving.
You should use VTOP brake fluid for your car in the following cases:
1. When the manufacturer recommends VTOP brake fluid
2. When replacing or topping up brake fluid
3. When the braking system shows abnormal signs
4. When the vehicle operates under not overly harsh conditions
5. When there are no special requirements for high performance
How to use:
- Only top up the fluid if the level is low and the fluid quality is still good and the color is still bright.
- Replace the brake fluid after 2-3 years of use, or if the brake fluid becomes dirty and dark.
- Car brake fluid is contained in a small white reservoir located in the engine compartment. The cap of the brake fluid reservoir has "Brake Fluid" printed on it or a yellow brake symbol sticker. If you can't find it, car owners can locate the car's brake fluid reservoir in the owner's manual or contact the car manufacturer's technical support department for assistance.
